Network and System Administrator

Job Description/Profile

Scope: Information Technology

• Establish, develop and monitor IT policies and regulations ensuring alignment with IT related business requirements and IT security management.
• Manage information technology and computer systems.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Design, plan, manage and monitor network infrastructure projects and related activities.
• Monitor and observe firewall and internet usage to ensure continuous sufficient network connectivity.
• Evaluate and assess existing school applications based on dynamic business needs and requirements.
• Manage, monitor and perform troubleshooting school management system (Rediker), in order to ensure that sufficient system serviceability.
• Manage, handle and communicate on a regular basis with external support teams (external providers) of all school applications including Rediker, ERP, Raz-Kids, and MAP applications in order to assure sufficient technical performance and enhancement satisfying business needs.
• Supervise IT team members and follow up on their activities on a daily basis to ensure Met user’s requests are delivered and technical problems are resolved in a timely manner to assure high service standards.
• Ensure that CCTV working properly all the time, and a record is being kept.
• Planning and implementing the Schools’ Online Education Platform (MS Teams).
• Monitor the Platform, generate and send weekly statistical reports to the Academic Leadership.
• Ensure that proper professional support delivers to Students, Teachers, Parents, and the whole Staff.
