Turing.com is looking for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing company creating a new, modern mode of housing that makes it easy to live well and comfortably. The engineer will utilize strong skills in Ruby on Rails and React to augment the engineering team. The company is backed by leading enterprises, including Airbnb, Comcast, Bowery, and has raised close to $100mn in funding. The candidate will collaborate with a hardworking team of creators, problem-solvers, and strategists on small and large projects. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity that requires at least 4 hours overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle a backlog of minor improvements to make to the tools
Try your hands on larger projects as you get more experienced
Focus mainly on the back-end with additional front-end work
Work cross-functionally across engineering, product, design, and operational teams
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React
Basic front-end skills to tackle simple forms or read-only pages
Knowledge of GraphQL
Experience developing consumer-facing features
